As someone new to the AI product manager role, this really resonates. Bringing clarity to a context obsessed with speed and spending more time managing the ecosystem than the product itself... is basically my typical Monday.

Managing complexity is a genuinely interesting challenge, and making sense of the chaos is the everyday struggle. And the paradox is real: because that work demands deep knowledge of organizational context (especially for internal products), AI tools are often of little help. The human skills are what get you through the storm.

Although there's some merit to that, I think it's still too early to start renaming/reframing what Product Management is and what a Product Manager's job is or even how the title is named.

We're still in the early days of LLMs and what they can do. I understand the urge to change, understand that the way we did things last year has changed from what we do today, but still...feels like we're in a hurry to change before knowing the destination.
